ANTHRAX Guitarist Issues Post-SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL Update

January 25, 2008

ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian has issued the following update:

"I'm home from Sundance [Film Festival]. What a blast that festival is. All we did was snowboard, eat and drink. I did see one movie (the reason I was there),'Anvil! The Story Of Anvil'. It was directed by my friend Sacha Gervasi and I helped get some of the other guys from bands who were influenced by ANVIL in the early '80s to talk about it in the movie. My actual credit is: Metal Liaison: Scott Ian. Sick.

"The screenings were a huge success and the buzz on the movie was great. Every review has been killer.

"I'll keep you posted on when and where you'll be able to see it. For now, check it out here.

"Slash and I jammed with ANVIL at their party, 'Metal On Metal' and 'Cat Scratch Fever'.

"I did have a total sweaty fan-boy moment when I met Steve Coogan. If you don't know who he is he's a British comedian/actor/writer. His TV show 'I'm Alan Partridge' was the inspiration for 'The Office'. He's fucking hilarious."
